I have been a software engineer, product designer, and team leader for many years, working on various innovative enterprise and consumer products, some with more than 30 million daily active users. I have always been passionate about designing tools to help organize, visualize, and comprehend our world. The Maporium vision originated decades ago, during a long sabbatical in Palo Alto, and has been continuously refined ever since. The time has now come to finally start sharing it with everyone.

I have been a consultant for most of my professional life, applying my deep expertise in systems design and transformation to weave sustainability, environmental management, and regenerative agricultural practices into existing business, community, government, and non-profit systems. I have taught many classes and conducted many workshops, communicating my passion for systems thinking and aiming to effect positive change in the world. SMAP is the tool I wish I have had all these years.

I have worked in public relations, marketing, business development, sales, partnerships, and human resources for various technology companies, as well as served on several non-profit boards. I am also a farmer of wine grapes. Some of my biggest challenges have been to organize and share information, streamline communication, and connect micro and macro perspectives. Seemingly disconnected silos of information obscure critical intersections, but with our game-changing SMAP solution, I can visualize everything in a cohesive view.
